What the photographs establish

This group shows that a “transition” is not one fixed catalogue shape. The Zeus archive contains different profiles and proportions, from angular fabricated sections to round transitions and conical forms. That makes the drawing particularly important because the geometry, end profiles and interfaces define the job.

What to send for a comparable requirement

For a comparable cone, reducer or transition, send the top and bottom diameters or profiles, overall height or length, offsets where relevant, material and thickness, quantity, connection details and required finish. A drawing is the safest way to communicate geometry that cannot be described reliably in a short email.

  • Material and grade if specified
  • Thickness and principal dimensions
  • Quantity and required finish
  • Critical interfaces, fit requirements or standards that genuinely apply
  • Required date and delivery postcode/location
